Srikant Sastry - Grant Thornton Mr. Sastry is a Partner in Grant Thornton’s Global Public Sector practice and leads the Firm’s Cost and Performance Management practice. In his more than 18 years serving the public sector, he has led cost management and performance improvement projects for several Federal agencies, including the Department of Labor, Department of Interior, Department of Transportation, US Patent and Trademark Office, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Postal Service, and Department of Treasury. He has also led cost and performance management projects for the State of California, and for the Hongkong Post. Prior to Grant Thornton, he led public sector cost and performance management practices at IBM Business Consulting Services and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He began his career working in budget formulation and cost management capacities for the Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Management and Budget, and Internal Revenue Service. He holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Massachusetts, an MPA from Indiana University, and a JD from George Washington University. He is a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM). |

Lisa W. Hershman - Hammer and Company, CEO Lisa W. Hershman is the CEO of Hammer and Company, an internationally recognized business education and research firm that counts more than 75 percent of the Fortune 100 on its client list. The company identified Hershman as its new CEO in 2009 following a global search. She is a seasoned business professional who brings a wealth of real-world experience and an innovative style to her position. Prior to joining Hammer and Company, Hershman served as Corporate Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence at Avnet, Inc., the world’s largest B2B distributor of electronic components and computer equipment. Hershman’s successful management of Op Ex initiatives in the 72 countries in which Avnet has operations led to her being honored with the 2008 Avnet corporate Chairman’s Award. Previously, she led Process and Resource Development efforts at Brightpoint, a $2 billion provider of integrated logistics services, where she reduced defects per million by 97 percent in 3 months. Her long term legacy of success is not surprising, considering her skills as an engineer were honed during time with General Electric, where she managed a portion of the Seawolf submarine program. Hershman is also no stranger to the consulting business, having founded her own quality consulting firm. Working extensively with Caterpillar, Hershman was honored when one of the facilities she advised was recognized as Manufacturer of the Year by the State of Georgia following the successful implementation of a QS-9000 quality system. Hershman’s proven track record has made her a sought after speaker both in the United States and abroad. She has also been featured addressing current trends affecting women in the corporate world for Fortune Magazine, Monster.com, and Arizona Woman magazine. She served as the Chairwoman of Avnet’s Executive Women’s Forum and as National Secretary of BPW USA, and currently serves in the leadership ranks of the Indiana Commission for Women and as a Board Member for the Consortium of Advanced Manufacturing International. Hershman earned her degree from Clarkson University, studying engineering and industrial distribution and has continued her professional development, including coursework with MIT and IMD. |

George Millush - Daimler Chrysler (retired) George B. Millush is now retired from being the Director of Financial Process Planning for Daimler-Chrysler, a unique position dedicated to process, systems, and organization development in pursuit of achieving Best Practice processes in Finance. He has been an active member of the CAM-I organization since 1993, including participation in the Target Costing, Process Management, and Value Quest publications. George was the CAM-I CMS Program Chairman for two years, and was presented with the Robert A. Bonsack Award for 1997. |

Anthony Pember - Pilbara Group, CEO Anthony Pember is the Chief Executive Officer of Pilbara Group, a consulting and software company based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Anthony has extensive consulting experience and was a key contributor to the development of ace, Pilbara Group’s cost and performance modeling software. Anthony has a wide range of experience in both the private and public arenas, including: cost and performance modeling, model methodology and business rule development, strategic analysis, data analysis, and project management. Anthony has been involved in, and has led, cost management and performance improvement projects for many clients in the United States, Australia, Mexico and Great Britain. Prior to Pilbara Group, Anthony spent many years working for multinational pharmaceutical companies including Bristol Myers Squibb and Schering Plough. Anthony is respected as an innovator and thought leader in the area of business performance management and has been working in the cost and performance management arena for close to 10 years. Anthony has been involved with CAM-I since 2004 and has been an active participant in the Armed Services Interest Group. |
