- Access to practical, proven advanced management methods and tools and to people who have used them to realize significant business improvements.
- Ability to work with global Subject Matter Experts and thought leaders to extend these advanced management methods and tools to address key business issues.
- CAM-I continuously seeks emerging issues to pursue best practices through collaboration and external input. Members are encouraged to identify newly developing areas of concern, and to help initiate new Interest Groups (e.g., Health Care, Risk Management, Green and Sustainment and Transparency).
- Upon joining the CAM-I President will visit a members site twice a year to discuss application of CAM-I deliverables, access to the members portal and the best way to leverage solutions, applications and past and present work.
- Via members portal, electronic access is provided to all past and present deliverables in the areas of Process Management, Risk Management, Target Costing, Performance Management and Change Management and Cost Management.
- Attendees have the opportunity to collaborate and network with a diverse group of CAM-I members from leading organizations, as well as Subject Matter Experts and academia. Members use the meeting to dialogue on current issues, opportunities and benchmarking formally at our quarterly meetings and informally though our portal contact list.
- The Consortium holds four meetings a year with member companies, subject matter experts and academia. Similar work is done by Webex in between the quarterly meetings.
- As part of the membership, CAM-I will provide one-day on-site training for one of the following areas once a year –
- Target Costing
- Customer Profitability
- Process Based Management
- Performance Management
- Strategic Cost Management
- Risk Management
- Meeting attendees receive Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits.
